- What cookies are
- Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. The same purpose can be reached with similar technologies, like the browser’s localStorage and sessionStorage. This page covers all of them and explains what this site uses.
- Profiling and analytics cookies
- This site uses no profiling cookies, advertising, statistics tools (like Google Analytics) or tracking pixels. For this reason there is no consent banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
- Data stored in your browser
- The site stores only three technical items on your device. They contain no personal data and are never sent to anyone: “wl-lang” remembers the language you picked (Italian or English) and stays until you clear it; “wl-sound” remembers whether you turned the sound on and stays until you clear it; “wl-wipe” is a temporary flag used for the page transition animation and disappears when you close the tab.
- YouTube videos
- Some project pages include YouTube videos. To protect your privacy the video is not loaded until you press the play button: before the click no YouTube server is contacted. After the click the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, Google’s enhanced privacy mode, which may still store technical data under its own policy. If you do not want this, do not start the videos.
- External links
- The site contains links to external services, such as Instagram, Discord, TikTok, Bluesky and the Celestia website. These links load nothing until you open them. Once opened, the rules of those services apply.
- Technical access data
- The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and the domain address is managed through Cloudflare (DNS service only). As with any website, GitHub may log technical access data, such as the IP address, for security and operation, under its own privacy policy. Fonts and images are loaded from the site itself, not from third-party services.
- How to delete or block data
- You can delete the data stored by the site at any time from your browser settings (“Clear browsing data” or “Site data”). You can also set your browser to block cookies and site data: the site will keep working, but will ask for language and sound again at every visit.
